DIY Beauty: Exfoliating Mask
Last week I tried a diy exfoliating mask. I felt dry and scaly and determined to do something about it! So, I went to my favorite resource, Pinterest! What did I do before Pinterest? I will Pinterest something before I google it, fyi. And now they have a percentage of smiley faces of those that have tried things. I'm also on a cooking kick as of late as well... but that is another blog post altogether!
Anywho, I found one that I had the ingredients for, I made it, I tried it, I liked it! It felt cold, heavy, thick and drippy. I didn't really think it would stay put, but it did. I used a synthetic foundation brush to apply it and left it on for about 20 minutes. I ended up getting some in my hair line so it took longer than normal to rinse off. I had enough left over for another application. I put that in a plastic bowl covered it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge. I used it two days later and had the same beautiful results.
I think when I make it again I will use coffee grounds instead of baking soda. I'll update you to let you know how that goes.
If you would like the recipe head over to our 'WE LOVE...' page. When you try it let me know how you liked, loved, not so impressed it!
